What we did:

Realisation of the electric system for the new water cleansing system in the factory Marcegaglia, in Gazoldo (MN). Delivery and installation of electric power centres and automation centres (MCC) for the cleansing unit. The system is provided with a PLC Siemens S-300, including a CPU controlling the whole system and decentralised local units.

Each cabinet is equipped both with an automation unit (incl. analogical/digital plugs) and a power unit to connect all consumer-related devices. Each consumer-related device is provided with an added protection screen to carry out ordinary maintenance in a fully safe environment.

Each cabinet component can be expanded, since they contain up to 20% spare elements to implement or modify the original start-up system. The system management is carried out by both a touch screen on the main cabinet and a PC located in the control room. It is possible to regulate the system, read past processes or alarm notification and monitor trends of the main process parameters.
