What we did:

Delivery and installation of new automation switch cabinets for the industrial water cleansing system in the Foundries ALMAG, in Roncadelle (BS).

The system includes a series of PLCs Siemens Distributed Controllers connected by ProfiBus to a CPU controlling the whole process. Devices are grouped into peripheral units distributed over a main field at different lengths (up to 1,000m) which are able to control motors, give instructions to electro-valves and gather data about levels, pressure, PH, flow rate and temperature with low installation costs.

Power cabinets are grouped in a single room.

Distributed devices are connected to and monitored by local cabinets.

A PC overviews the plant, allows configuration modifications, monitors alarms, alert thresholds and consumption.
